Shine the spotlights on your innovation

Your innovation in the international trade press! You count on it happening if you win the Innovation Award or the Press Award.

All participants that ensure the new products they are introducing at the fair are registered in time, qualify to compete for the Innovation Award. An international jury of experts decides which innovations are the most impressive and innovative and are nominated. The reasons for nomination can be technical or environmental progress, or increased profitability, but aspects like ergonomics, sustainability, economic importance and range expansion are also taken into consideration.

The nominations are announced at the beginning of October. The nominated company that is the ultimate winner of the Innovation Award will be revealed at the Horti Fair, when the winner of the Press Award will also be announced. The presentation of the Innovation Award will take place during the official opening ceremony on the morning of Tuesday 30 October.

The 2011 winner of the Innovation Award in the Technique category was Mardenkro B.V. for ReduFuse. Corn. Bak BV won the prize in the Green category for the Florinilla® ‘Bella’.
